Biography

Ricky Manders and Tim Achten, better known as the hardstyle duo Emphasis, are
one of the rising talents in the Hard Dance genre. They started playing hardstyle in
2013. In the last couple of years they’ve played at a lot of festivals like Q-Base,
Stereo Sunday, Wild Kingdom Festival, Simply Wild Festival and more! But there was
one thing that was missing around this act, own tracks. After spending time
developing their sound, they got a break in 2017 when their first bootleg of Zara
Larssons’- Never Forget You was supported by Brennan Heart and Zany in their
podcasts. After this success they decided to work harder and they’re now waiting to
release lots of more new tracks.
They’re expecting more success in 2018 so keep an eye out for this duo at future
hard dance events, because they turn music into power, as they unite!
