Based in Rotterdam, Nikita Wiessner is the label manager at independent creative record label bitbird. Since 2017, Nikita has been instrumental in strengthening the marketing and artist development departments at the label as well as expanding its events business. Some key projects include the successful release of San Holo’s genre-bending debut album ‘album1′, the label’s own Gouldian Finch compilations – showcasing new and exciting talent, and bitbird’s own label showcase ‘a night with bitbird’, with events across the Netherlands and the US.
