You hear it time and again: check out this party, go to this conference, don’t miss this festival. And if you’re anything like us you also occasionally catch a serious case of FOMO – that exasperating fear of missing out. Now we don’t want to get you too frightened but we do have a couple of reasons why you should not be missing out on this year’s Dancefair:

  1. all your favourite labels are present. Yes, that’s right. STMPD RCRDS. Revealed Recordings. Spinnin’ Records. Armada Music. Dim Mak Recordings. Protocol Recordings. Scantraxx Recordz. Future House Music. No Copyright Sounds. Enter Records. The. list. is. endless. Oh wait, did we miss a label? Let us know so we can make sure we are definitely not missing anyone!
  2. We have the biggest demo drop on the planet. One hundred plus labels are present for two full days to listen to your demo, give professional feedback, share tips & tricks and A&Rs who want to network with YOU.
  3. Every year we have some of the hottest artists in electronic music attending. Boasting a line-up of artists such as Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, San Holo, Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, Mike Williams, Frontliner, Da Tweekaz, Sub Zero Project, we don’t think these artists need any further introduction. This year however we got some very special surprises so we figure it’s best to stay tuned.
  4. The gear expo is ri-di-cu-lous. With 8,000 sqm event space we already have a humongous expo floor but the best part is the best and biggest brands in pro-audio doing giveaways, product launches, demos and other brand activations. Need we say more?
  5. 200+ masterclasses by real industry professionals including mixing and mastering engineers, music attorneys, artist managers, collective rights organisations, label heads, A&R managers and DSPs. If you thought you knew something then think again; there is always more to learn and what better way to stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies than attending our seminars, panels and workshops?
  6. the parties. We can’t give too much away but this year we finally have an evening program as well. Recently Revealed Recordings announced their 10 year anniversary in TivoliVredenburg with performances by none other than Mike Williams and Sick Individuals and more artists to be announced soon. Of course we will announce more parties soon but if you are looking for a place to party after our conference rest assured we got your back!
  7. more focus on tech. That’s right, the music industry has always been on the forefront of new technologies. Whether it’s streaming platforms, social media or A.I., artists and music managers often are the first to create their own cryptocurrency, jump on the latest app or to embrace the newest inventions in blockchain technology. It’s only right then that we give more tech companies a platform in our exhibition, inviting high-level executives in social media and streaming platforms to our panels and providing a networking space for brands and artists to get familiar with the latest trends in music and tech.
  8. if you listened to Beyonce in 2011 you already know who run the world. But girls don’t only make the world go round, no; a lot of ladies also run the industry. So for our 2020 conference of course we have to represent as well: expect female managers, female artists, female producers and female entrepreneurs to tell their side of the story, share tips & tricks and empower upcoming young women to keep chasing their dreams.
  9. last year Marshmello made history with his first-ever in-game concert and a stunning 10.7 million people in attendance. Steve Aoki in the meantime owns stakes in esports leagues. Monstercat, Spinnin’ Records and Fool’s Gold all work with Twitch to build a royalty-free music catalogue for live-streamers. In other words: esports is bigger business than ever. The good news? For our brand new edition we wanna help you get involved!
  10. we are more international than ever before. With speakers and visitors coming from as far as the US, UK, Mexico, Brazil, India, China, Japan, and elsewhere, we help you get connected to industry professionals from all over the world.
